Offer the Spa Treatment
Believe it or not, we’ve had many of our dealer clients set a specific day of the week to offer mani and pedis in their service drive. That’s right, they have a trained technician on-site to provide a spa treatment to service customers. This is obviously an extra perk that customers love, but it also boosts service traffic on slow days and brings more people in for maintenance work.

Create Weekly Drawings
It doesn’t matter who you are, everybody loves to win prizes. Think about increasing foot traffic to your store by creating a weekly drawing. Entries can be submitted by visiting your dealership’s Sales or Service Departments. The prizes don’t have to be spectacular, but something that someone would want to win, like gift cards, dealership swag, etc. Then each week draw a name and have the person come to your store to redeem their prize. A campaign like this will drive traffic to your store and create brand awareness among your customers and community.

Provide a Little Extra
Let’s be honest here, in today’s society consumers are used to getting everything they want from a retailer… and more! With this in mind, think about cost effective things you can do to provide your customers with a little extra. Maybe you wash and vacuum every vehicle that comes in for service, or offer a quick lane for customers in need of maintenance. The possibilities here are endless, but you’ll want to make sure that whatever you provide customers is not too over the top that your dealership actually losses money or decreases traffic.

If you need to boost end-of-summer traffic, think about pampering your customers. They’ll be thankful for the royal treatment and you’ll be rewarded with increased traffic and revenue.
