Chances are your dealership offers convenience options that your customers are not even aware of. Now I know what you’re thinking - what convenience options do I offer that my customers would care about? Today I’ll share four convenience options to share with your customers so they’ll share their love with you.

Saturday or Nightly Hours
Offering off-peak hours in your Sales and Service Department is a huge benefit for many of your customers. For those who have to work the typical 9-to-5 job, these types of features will be an added benefit for them to do business with you. If you have off-peak hours, be sure to share them with your customers.

Customer Waiting Area
Most of your customers visit your dealership because of your quality of service, friendly staff, or convenient location. What about your customer lounge? Luxuries such as Wi-Fi, snacks, refreshments, and a big screen TV may not seem important to you, but your customers appreciate these types of special touches and you should let them know about them.

Complimentary Services
What type of services do you offer customers at no cost? Think about things like the free car wash that you can offer to every service customer, free loaners to customers having body work done, or the free shuttle service you provide to help your customers get on with their day. Make sure you share these complimentary conveniences with your customers.

Express Lane
Quick lanes are a convenient way for customers to get their oil changed without having to spend a lot of time. If you offer this type of service, your customers should know about it. Express lanes are not only helpful to the busy customer, but they also help your Service Department close more ROs by servicing more vehicles.

Offering your customers convenience options is just part of your business, but make sure your customers are aware of these added benefits for doing business with you. It may be the differentiator between them servicing at your store or visiting the quick lube down the street.
