Show Thanks with Black Friday Deals

November 15, 2013

Show Thanks with Black Friday DealsThe theme of November has always been to give thanks for the things or people in your life that you hold dear. Why not demonstrate thanks to your customers by offering them exclusive offers on Black Friday? Here are three ways you can show your appreciation while driving traffic and revenue this Black Friday.

Create Timely Deals
Most Black Friday retail outlets start their deals at 4 a.m., 2 a.m., and even 12 a.m. to draw a bigger crowd and generate excitement. Although your customers probably won’t be out shopping for a vehicle in the wee hours of the morning, think about having a designated start time for your Black Friday deals. For example, if you plan to reduce pricing on a particular model, think about marketing a start time for your deal to kick-off and let customers know the deal is only good for vehicles on your lot. This type of marketing creates the Black Friday excitement and hype that many of your customers have become accustomed to.

Offer Customer Loyalty Deals
This idea is a new twist on the Black Friday frenzy. Think about offering deals only to customers who have been into your dealership for service in the last six months. Let them know that if they have a record of the RO, that they will receive an additional discount on the purchase of a new vehicle above and beyond your timed deals.

Promote Giveaways
Believe it or not; many consumers will go to a retail outlet just because they are giving something away to the first 500 customers for free. As you know, once a consumer is in a retail outlet, whether they meant to make a purchase or not, they are more likely to spend money because they have stepped inside the door. So, you could offer a giveaway to a specified number of consumers who test drive a vehicle on Black Friday.

Regardless of your marketing agenda, Black Friday is one of the biggest retail shopping days of the year and you should capitalize on the opportunity to bring more business to your store. However, the truth is consumers are getting smarter; they’re planning their Black Friday routes and looking for the best deals. Be sure you’re a part of their Black Friday agenda with a clever marketing strategy. Not only will you be able to take this opportunity to thank your loyal customers, you will be rewarded with additional traffic.
