Throw a Party
October is synonymous with costumes, trick-or-treat, and parties. Why not combine all three and invite customers, prospects, and members of your community to join in on the fun? Think about hosting a Halloween party at your dealership. You could give away prizes for best costume and provide lots of candy to party-goers. This type of event can be big or small, depending on your budget. Just remember, if you decide to throw a party, be sure you have plenty of your staff on site to mingle with your guests to foster relationships and your hottest vehicle sellers up front where visitors can peruse your inventory.

Host a Photo Contest
If you haven’t done so yet, think about hosting a social media contest for best costume. This is a really easy campaign to pull off. All you have to do is promote your Facebook posts and instruct contest participants to use a particular hashtag when posting their Halloween costume pictures. Be sure to make the reward something big enough that people will actually want to take the time to post a picture. Then after the Halloween holiday, reward the pic that gets the most likes. This is a great way to build recognition for your brand on social media and drive top-of-mind awareness for your dealership.
